BEN TURNBULL X CANDIDATE Q
British artist Ben Turnbull presents his latest solo exhibition, Rebirth of a Nation: Ben Turnbull X Candidate Q, at Number 6 Dray Walk, The Truman Brewery, from March 28 to April 5, 2025. Featuring a new series of provocative works, the exhibition dissects America’s political and cultural mythology through Turnbull’s alter ego, Candidate Q.
Central to the exhibition is the dynamic between Turnbull and his maverick alter ego, Candidate Q. Q represents a raw, uninhibited perspective, transforming Turnbull’s established practice into an experimental playground. Through Q, Turnbull deconstructs familiar narratives, from propaganda to comic book aesthetics, and reassembles them into sharp, provocative statements.
